Cover of John Brook's 1970 book

The Return to Riverrun portfolio was published by the John Brook Archive on the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of John Brook’s A Long the Riverrun and in conjunction with an exhibition of original prints at the Griffin Museum of Photography in early 2021.

Return to Riverrun is gratefully dedicated to
the memory of Robert W. Rogers, who, recognizing the poignancy of John Brook's
fine art imagery, advocated that Brook's photographic legacy be preserved and promoted.

The portfolio includes six of Brook's luminous pictures from the book in superbly crafted giclée prints, accompanied by texts setting Brook’s work in context.

The giclée prints were printed by Gary Samson on Red River Palo Duro Soft Gloss Rag after he, Thomas Adams, and Jim Fitts made the final selection for this portfolio. The portfolio box and layout were designed by Jim Fitts. The biography and introduction to the prints were written by Jessica Roscio, Director and Curator of the Danforth Museum of Art. The text is printed on Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300.

The portfolio is limited to an edition of twelve. The price is $900.00.
